Job Seeker
The job seeker section of the career center is here to help you find job openings. We use America’s Job Bank, a national job search tool to access job listings. You can search for available jobs within a specific distance of your zip code or search state-by-state to see what’s available.
There are three ways to search for jobs:
Quick Search: Select from a list of categories to find a range of job openings within that category.
Keyword Search: Key in a word that could be found in a job title or description.
Title Search: Select from a drop down menu list of categories and continue selecting until you select a specific occupation. The difference between the “title search” and the “quick search” is that a title search allows you to search for specific occupations, while quick search allows you to search within categories, not occupations.
Notice that as you click on any of these searches, the words become highlighted. This tells you where you are in the site.
